Unless your organization's top leadership is actively and consciously cultivating the brand and culture within the organization, the effort will never reach its full potential. In fact, left unattended, you may not get what you expect.

To assure that such internal branding is given proper attention, it is good to set aside some time annually to take a pulse on the company culture, and to talk to your associates for both top down and bottom up communication. Your brand's core positioning or "purpose statement" is intended to remind your employees (and yourself) of the "why" we do what we do.
